Single-client disconnection via spoofed 802.11w management frames

Improper PMF validation in Cisco IOS XE on Catalyst 9800 controllers allows physically proximate attackers to disconnect one client. The controller accepts spoofed 802.11w disassociation or deauthentication PMFs without properly validating them against the authenticated client. Exploitation requires device analytics for supported Apple devices and an adjacent network position from which a valid client's PMF can be spoofed, and the documented consequence is termination of that single connection.
