Memory corruption in Cisco Webex recording players for Windows allows attackers to execute code through a malicious ARF or WRF file. The players insufficiently validate recording elements before processing them, enabling out-of-bounds memory operations; Cisco has not disclosed a narrower code locus. Exploitation requires the targeted user to open the crafted recording, and resulting code runs with that user's privileges.
