Arbitrary file read via TAPS path traversal

Path traversal in TAPS in Cisco Unified Communications Manager allows remote attackers to read arbitrary system files through crafted requests. The TAPS interface fails to validate user-supplied path input before resolving requested files, allowing traversal outside the intended directory. Exploitation requires network access to a server with auto-registration enabled, which Cisco states is disabled by default, and exposes file contents without modifying them.
