Root command execution via crafted CLI arguments

Command injection in affected Cisco FXOS Software 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 releases allows local users to execute Linux commands as root. The CLI does not sufficiently validate arguments to an undisclosed command before passing crafted input to the underlying Linux operating system. Administrator credentials and local CLI access on a Firepower 4100 Series or 9300 Security Appliance are required, and successful exploitation grants root command execution.
