Script execution via insufficient web input validation
Published Feb 19, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Finesse before 12.5(1) allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's interface through a malicious link. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied link input before incorporating it into browser-rendered content. A user must open the link; successful exploitation runs script in the affected interface's context or exposes sensitive browser-based information.
