Content interception via unvalidated endpoint certificates

Improper certificate validation in Cisco Jabber for Android allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter shared content. The Intelligent Proximity SSL client accepts a forged server certificate without validating the endpoint, allowing an intercepted connection to impersonate the collaboration device. Exploitation requires an on-path position, Proximity enabled on both the client and an on-premises endpoint, and exposes presentation content or call controls.
