CVE-2020-3148Network attack vector

Configuration changes via insufficient CSRF protections

Published Mar 4, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Cisco Prime Network Registrar before 10.1 allows remote attackers to change device configuration through its web UI. The web interface accepts state-changing requests without sufficient anti-CSRF validation, allowing malicious links to act through a user's session. Exploitation requires a targeted user with an active administrative session to follow the link; resulting changes can create privileged accounts or interrupt managed network services.
