CVE-2020-3142Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated meeting access via exposed join information

Published Jan 26, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Improper access control in Cisco Webex Meetings before 39.11.5 and before 40.1.3 allows remote attackers to join protected meetings. A mobile-specific join flow exposes meeting information when a known meeting ID or URL is opened in an iOS or Android browser and handed to the Webex app. Possession of the meeting ID or URL and use of the mobile application are required; a successful attendee is visible in the meeting roster.
