Out-of-bounds write in Apple ImageIO in iOS and iPadOS before 14.3 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a maliciously crafted image. ImageIO writes past a buffer boundary while parsing attacker-controlled image data because bounds checking is insufficient. Exploitation requires a device or application to process the image, after which code runs with that process's privileges.
