Virtualization flaw in Oracle VM VirtualBox before 5.2.40, 6.0.20, or 6.1.6 allows local high-privilege attackers to take over the hypervisor. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the VirtualBox Core component and has not published the underlying operation or flaw mechanism. Exploitation requires high privileges on the host where VirtualBox runs, and successful exploitation can compromise or take over the hypervisor with confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
