Credential phishing via unvalidated redirect target
Published Jan 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Open redirect in RSA Archer before 6.8 P2 allows remote privileged attackers to redirect legitimate users to arbitrary websites. The web application accepts attacker-controlled redirect destinations in a link and sends the victim's browser to an external site without validating the target. The attacker must have privileged remote access and induce a user to follow the crafted link; the resulting phishing page can capture credentials and enable silent Archer authentication.
