Path traversal in PDM in Dell Avamar Server 19.1 through 19.3 allows remote authenticated users to write and delete arbitrary server files. Dell has not published the affected PDM endpoint, parameter, or path-validation operation that permits traversal outside an intended directory. Exploitation requires high-privilege authentication over the network and affects file integrity and availability without reported file disclosure.
