Insecure default configuration in Dell Wyse ThinOS 8.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to access sensitive local-network information. ThinOS clients can retrieve configuration from a writable file server over insecure HTTP or FTP, allowing an unauthenticated network attacker to read data used by impacted thin clients. Exploitation requires the client to use that insecure remote file-server configuration path; the documented consequence is information disclosure and potential thin-client compromise.
