Unauthenticated script execution via unsanitized op parameter
Published Mar 5, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Secomea GateManager before 9.4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via crafted URLs. The gui.cgi endpoint reflects the op query parameter into its response without sanitization, so script supplied in that parameter runs when the page is rendered. Exploitation requires a victim to navigate to the crafted link; the demonstrated impact is client-side script execution with potential access to the victim's web session context.
