Stored XSS via unsanitized public web content
Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Stored XSS in Secomea GateManager before 9.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. Public-file uploads accept active content without extension controls, while Terms of Use input is stored and rendered without validation. Server-operator privileges are required to plant the content, and a visitor must open it, exposing cookies or triggering actions in that visitor's session.
