Administrator session compromise via unescaped customer fields
Published Oct 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Froxlor 0.10.16 Customer Add allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in an administrator's browser. The Customer Add path stores submitted name, firstname, and username values without safe validation or output encoding before administrator pages render them. A customer or reseller account can plant the payload, but an administrator must open a customer traffic view; execution enables session hijacking, phishing, redirects, or backend-page manipulation.
