Session hijacking via crafted Notes content
Published May 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in OX App Suite 7.10.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted Notes content. An undocumented Notes component renders attacker-controlled content without neutralizing script syntax, so opening a shared malicious item executes code in the victim's browser session. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to share or upload the malicious item and a victim to open it; consequences include session hijacking and unwanted web actions.
