Unauthorized OCS API requests via unchecked CSRF tokens
Published Feb 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in ownCloud Server before 10.6 allows remote attackers to submit unauthorized OCS API requests through a user's browser. Affected OCS API endpoints improperly validate the CSRF token on cookie-authenticated requests, allowing a forged cross-site request to be accepted. Exploitation requires an authenticated user's browser to send the request; published material does not identify the affected endpoints or actions.
