Cross-site scripting via unsanitized decoration attributes

Cross-site scripting in markdown-it-decorate 1.2.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute browser scripts through crafted Markdown. The applyToToken function accepts arbitrary attribute names and values from decoration comments, and setAttr writes them directly into markdown-it output tokens without filtering event-handler names or dangerous link schemes. Exposure requires an application to load the plugin, enable HTML comment parsing, render attacker-controlled Markdown, and serve the resulting HTML to a browser.
