Feature-state changes via missing CSRF validation
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Togglz Console before 2.9.4 allows remote attackers to alter feature states through a victim's browser. EditPageHandler accepted feature-edit requests without validating a server-generated CSRF token, so a forged request was processed with the victim's console session. A victim with console access must load attacker-controlled content; successful exploitation changes feature configuration with that victim's authority.
