Code execution in FontParser in Apple Security Update Catalina before 2021-002 allows attackers to run code via a crafted font file. FontParser mishandles state while processing untrusted font data; Apple has not disclosed the faulty function or state transition. Exploitation requires the target to process a malicious font file and yields code execution in the parsing process's security context.
