Unauthorized data access via Email Center requests
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Oracle Email Center 12.1.1-12.1.3 and 12.2.3-12.2.9 allows remote attackers to access critical data and modify some records via HTTP requests. The Email Address list and Message Display components process attacker-influenced requests in a manner that bypasses intended authorization, but Oracle has not disclosed the precise coding error. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a person other than the attacker to interact with the request, and successful attacks can read or alter Email Center data without affecting availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
