An out-of-bounds write in Apple ImageIO across macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS allows attackers to execute code via a crafted image. ImageIO insufficiently validates malicious image input before writing to memory, allowing the decoder to write beyond an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the affected device to process the image, and resulting code execution is limited to the context of the processing component.
