Information disclosure via SR2 out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit Studio Photo 3.6.6.922 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted SR2 file. The SR2 parser fails to validate user-controlled data before reading beyond the end of an allocated structure. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit a malicious page; the resulting disclosure can support a separate exploit chain.
