Stored HTML injection via poll and quiz answers
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored HTML injection in Rocketgenius Gravity Forms before 2.4.21 allows remote attackers to inject markup through poll or quiz answers. The paid Polls and Quiz add-ons store submitted answer content and later render it as HTML to privileged users without adequate neutralization. A privileged user such as an Administrator or Editor must view the stored answer, enabling attacker-controlled markup in that user’s browser.
