Stored XSS via unsanitized form imports
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Rocketgenius Gravity Forms before 2.4.21 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a GF form import. The import feature accepts attacker-supplied script or HTML in a form definition, stores it, and renders the content in a privileged user's browser without effective neutralization. Exploitation requires high-privilege form-import access and subsequent interaction by an Administrator, Editor, or another privileged user, enabling browser-context data access or modification.
