Service interruption via undisclosed JSSE flaw
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Denial of service in JSSE in Oracle Java SE 7u251, 8u241, 11.0.6, and 14 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via HTTPS. Oracle has not published the JSSE routine or malformed HTTPS input that triggers the availability failure. Client and server deployments are exposed when untrusted applets, Web Start applications, web services, or other callers supply data to JSSE APIs; impact is limited to partial service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
