Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash the server. Oracle identifies the locus only as Server: Security: Privileges and has not disclosed the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires high privileges and network access through a MySQL protocol, and the resulting impact is limited to service interruption.
