TCP session hijacking via predictable sequence numbers

Predictable TCP sequence numbers in Silicon Labs uC/TCP-IP 3.6.0 allow remote attackers to hijack or spoof TCP connections. The ISN generator uses a reversible linear congruential generator seeded with the publicly recoverable system timer count. An attacker who observes output and can deliver spoofed packets can reset sessions, inject data into unencrypted traffic, or bypass address-based authentication.
