Unauthenticated code execution via JReport RMI deserialization

Deserialization in IBM InfoSphere Information Server 8.5.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through JReport RMI. The JReport service exposes a Java RMI registry whose Registry.bind() method deserializes a crafted parameter without validating its type, allowing a Commons Collections gadget payload to issue host commands. The service must be enabled and reachable on port 58611; successful commands run with the web service's privileges, observed as root in the published test.
