Path traversal in ProcessWire CMS before 2.7.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files via the index.php download parameter. The download handler accepts absolute or traversal paths without restricting file resolution to an intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed files can include server configuration and system account data.
