CVE-2020-2737Network attack vector

Core RDBMS takeover via undisclosed operation

Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Core RDBMS flaw in Oracle Database 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, 18c, and 19c allows remote authenticated users to take over the database. Oracle has not published the vulnerable operation or the untrusted input mishandled within the Core RDBMS component. Exploitation requires Create Session and Execute Catalog Role privileges over Oracle Net, high attack complexity, and interaction by another person; success grants control of Core RDBMS.
