Privilege escalation in Canonical snapd before 2.48.3 allows local users in malicious or compromised containers to access host devices. Generated systemd service units for container-management snaps omit Delegate=yes, so a unit reload moves container processes into the snap daemon's cgroup. Exploitation requires a malicious or compromised container and grants access to arbitrary devices on the Linux host.
