CVE-2020-2734Network attack vector

Privileged data disclosure via undisclosed optimizer flaw

Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Information disclosure in Oracle Database Server 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, 18c, and 19c allows remote authenticated users to read optimizer data. Oracle identifies the locus as RDBMS/Optimizer but has not published the faulty operation or input that exposes the data. Exploitation requires Oracle Net access, Execute on DBMS_SQLTUNE privilege, and interaction by another person; the consequence is limited to reading a subset of optimizer-accessible data.
