CVE-2020-2733Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator takeover via exposed decryptable password

Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Authentication bypass in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2 allows remote attackers to gain Administrator access over HTTP. The unauthenticated /manage/fileDownloader?sec=1 handler returns the encrypted administrator password, while hard-coded AES material in genKeys permits offline recovery. Network reachability to the management portal is sufficient; the recovered credential permits application deployment and full portal control.
