CVE-2020-27295Network attack vector

Service interruption via uncontrolled resource consumption

Published Jan 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Honeywell Matrikon OPC UA Tunneller before 6.3.0.8233 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Public advisories identify excessive resource consumption but do not disclose the affected component, input, or resource-management error. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation exhausts resources and causes a denial-of-service condition.
