Physical admin access via hard-coded credentials
Published Mar 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Hamilton Medical AG HAMILTON-T1 2.2.3 and earlier allow physically proximate attackers to gain admin access. The configuration interface relies on credentials embedded in the device instead of unique, operator-managed credentials. Physical access is required; the interface can change standard settings and load configuration files or presets, but it cannot alter ventilation settings in ways that harm patients.
