Data disclosure via Bluetooth capture-replay
Published Jan 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in SOOIL Diabecare RS, AnyDana-i, and AnyDana-A before 3.0 allows physically proximate attackers to replay BLE traffic. The pump-to-app communication protocol accepts a previously captured Bluetooth Low Energy sequence because it performs no replay-protection check. Exploitation requires Bluetooth proximity and user interaction, and the documented consequence is confidentiality loss without data alteration or service interruption.
