Heap-based buffer overflow in SoftMaker PlanMaker 2021 Revision 1014 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted Excel document. CEscherObject::ReadNativeProperties trusts a 32-bit length in a 0xf150 Office Art record and copies that many bytes into a 0x64-byte member at offset 0x9dc. Exploitation requires a victim to open the document; the overwrite corrupts the process heap and enables code execution in the application context.
