Authenticated SQL injection via serviceUID query concatenation
Published Apr 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in OpenClinic GA 5.173.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through the getAssets.jsp serviceUID parameter. The page copies serviceUID into Asset.serviceuid, and Asset.getList concatenates it unescaped into an OC_ASSET_SERVICE LIKE clause. A valid application session reaches the endpoint, allowing database reads or writes within the application's database privileges.
