Authenticated database access via findSector SQL injection
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in OpenClinic GA 5.173.3 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through findSector requests. The patientslist.do handler incorporates the findSector parameter into an SQL command without neutralizing injected SQL syntax. A valid application session is required, and the CNA bounds the demonstrated consequence to database confidentiality and integrity.
