Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated patient identifier
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in patientslist.do in OpenClinic GA 5.173.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via findPersonID. patientslist.jsp passes the untrusted parameter to AdminPerson.getAllPatients, which concatenates it into a SQL WHERE clause without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid session is required; exploitation permits unauthorized database reads or writes within the application's database privileges.
