Protected file deletion via installer symlink

Symlink file overwrite in ESET products for Windows allows local users to delete protected files during installation or upgrade. Insecure ESET directory permissions let an attacker-controlled symbolic link redirect an installer's privileged file write to a protected file. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and a narrow installation or standard-PCU window while Self-Defense is inactive; uPCU upgrades are unaffected.
