Session data theft via unsanitized RSS link
Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025
Reflected XSS in LuxSoft LuxCal 4.5.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser through a crafted RSS feed link. The index.php endpoint reflects the rssfeed parameter into its HTML response without properly sanitizing the supplied value. Exploitation requires the victim to follow the crafted link; the resulting script runs in the LuxCal origin and can read exposed session data.
