Unauthenticated code execution via agent task RPC
Published Sep 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
OS command injection in PPGo_Jobs 2.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the agent's task RPC service. The RpcTask.RunTask endpoint accepts a JSON Task whose Command field is sent to the running agent for unrestricted execution. An exposed agent TCP port is sufficient; a crafted JSON-RPC request runs commands with the agent process's privileges and can fully compromise its host.
