CVE-2020-26732Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session-cookie disclosure via missing Secure attribute

Published Jan 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 16, 2024

Missing cookie protection in Skyworth Digital GN542VF hardware 2.0 with software 2.0.0.16 allows remote attackers to capture session cookies. The HTTPS management interface issues its session cookie without the Secure attribute, allowing browsers to resend it over an unencrypted HTTP connection. Exploitation requires interception of that HTTP transmission, and disclosure is limited to the session cookie; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
