Server information disclosure via evaluated from parameter
Published Jul 31, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Expression Language injection in ObjectPlanet Opinio before 7.14 allows remote attackers to read server information via a crafted request. The admin/permissionList.do handler evaluates the attacker-controlled from parameter as JSP EL instead of treating it as a literal value, exposing serverInfo properties. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is server-metadata disclosure without reported modification or interruption.
