Resource exhaustion in Oracle Java SE 7u241, 8u231, 11.0.5, and 13.0.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt Java services. The certificate parser interns Object Identifier values from attacker-controlled X.509 certificates, causing excessive memory use as distinct OIDs accumulate. Exploitation requires a service to pass attacker-supplied certificate data to Libraries APIs; it interrupts availability without reading or altering data.
