Browser script execution via unencoded stored content
Published Jun 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Intland codeBeamer ALM 10.x through 10.1.SP4 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a victim's browser. Uploaded HTML is served inline without neutralizing active content, while imported user fields and configured login text are rendered without output encoding. A project user can upload HTML through WebDAV, while account import and login-text injection require administrator access; a victim must open affected content, except that login-page code runs on every visit.
