TLS negotiation failure in the LDAP provider in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.1.0 through 9.1.0 exposes LDAP traffic to interception. Dell has not published the exact handshake operation that fails, beyond stating that the provider cannot connect over TLS 1.2. Exposure requires a cluster that uses an LDAP server for authentication and can result in eavesdropping and decryption of that traffic.
